So, I’ve recently re-watched for the seventy-fifth time one particular episode of Doctor Who (one that happens to be my favorite) called A Good Man Goes to War. The title itself got me thinking of an old idea that got me thinking about a new idea which made me want to cram both ideas into one and the inspiration for the mash-up comes from the little poem they have River Song say at the end of the episode:
Demons run when a good man goes to war.
Night will fall and drown the sun,
When a good man goes to war
Friendship dies and true love lies.
Night will fall and the dark will rise,
When a good man goes to war.
Demons run, but count the cost.
The battle’s won, but the child is lost.
